Abstract
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) publishes extensive reports every 7 years. These reports are regarded as the bible for climate policies. All countries in the world rely on them. So, the quality of these reports should be impeccable. The international think tank Clintel (Climate Intelligence), decided to analyse the latest IPCC report, called AR6. The results, unfortunately, are quite shocking. They found the IPCC report contains many errors and biases. In his talk, Crok will give some examples. He will also show that even when you use the biased IPCC report at face value, there is a lot of evidence for good news about climate.
Background information:
Climate Intelligence (Clintel) is an independent foundation informing people about climate change and climate policies. Clintel was founded in 2019 by emeritus professor of geophysics Guus Berkhout (member of Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and science journalist Marcel Crok.
